The 8” Victorninox-Forschner fillet knife is long and wider than its cousin (#4061) so that it can easily slide under the skin and down the backbone of fish. This is the knife you need when you desire the strength of a wider blade that is combined with flexibility. It has a semi-flexible blade and patented Fibrox® handle, and is a really great knife that has additional moxie beyond what the # 40613 offers.
The 8″ Blade Tamer sheath features a tough exterior made from military ballistic grade nylon. Strong webbing finishes the sewn edge of all our sheaths. Durable nylon inner liner with an open tip for maximum drainage will keep your Victorinox knife unsoiled and protected. The belt loop attachment keeps the knife close, but also safe and secure.
